The Yunnus Emry Zoom Circle is explained at this preceding link. In this page we introduce this form we call a Zoom Circle of Friends.
The Need
As a Spiritual Community we are spread out all over North America and beyond. And so we need zoom activities to be together. With the Yunus Emry Circle and the Friday Class Revisted Support Group we have an opportunity to meet with a focus that is not just upon on our daily lives but we meet in an atmosphere of our sacred intent. – – – Always with Kindness and Love.
The Process ~ The Essence
The wise prompts below all contribute to The Process
‘Deeper Still’ — ‘Seeing Through Another’s Eyes’
“Kindness and Love ~ Grace and Courtesy ~ And more Kindness’
‘Not Taking Ourselves too serious’ ~ ‘Active/Compassionate Listening’
“It can’t be taught it must be caught”
‘It grows through the Sacred Atmosphere of Silence’
. . . and many other kindred guidances . . .
Sacredness
Pir once spoke of, “The most critical need in our time is for Sacredness.”
There is one of those words of Mystery, ‘Sacredness‘. What does it mean? What is it ? It is in the realm of that which is felt not known. Perhaps it is ‘Kindness‘ itself.
For some of us who have already seen a bit of Yunus Emry, the music itself embodies this.
The Form ~ Group Size
The path of Neti~Neti, what doesn’t work: Large group zoom promote and foster top down teaching. Yes, that have been useful. especially in the past, but now is an opportunity for something else.
The size of the group matters: The big group above just does not work for intimate friendship circles.
Even the above group of nine may be too large for it easily degenerates into round robin checkins.
6 or 7 is about the right size. When the group is larger a breakout room may be needed.
The Practice of Three
One speaks with feelings — One listens without opinion
The 3rd holds space with their stillness.
Remember ‘the practice-of-three‘ helps in all group sizes.
