Mansur Al Hallaj 4/5

4)Quotes
When we are annihilated, whether by ecstasy or by agony, the ‘i’ disappears and what is left is the shell, the mold, through which the infinite can appear.

This is the challenge of the initiate to lose oneself to find oneself.

Beyond our projections — What is God really?
It is the unspoken. It is the Breath. It is the glance between Lovers.
5) Quotes
There are many who make pronouncements of Unity but does it show in their atmosphere.  Does it show in the Breath. Because that is where the unknowable, unspeakable speaks to us — In the Silence. It is only when the outer noise of self has been annihilated that the inner Silence can emerge and pronounce in a whisper— I am Thou.

The ones that experience this, still make their prayers. Or in the Zen sense, ‘They chop wood and carry water just like before. And the real ones have melted their goodness and their badness, their whole ego structure to experience the sweet intimacy with their beloved One.

I have been taken beyond the realm of names and forms and invited to melt in your knowingness, not that I know anymore, but I am invited to be nothing and you are everything. That is the challenge of the initiate.

  1. There is this mysterious concept of ‘the story’. I put it on everything. On my self. On the spiritual path. On the Infinite One. All of these are just stories. They are not real. The Real is when the stories are annihilated then something is present beyond my self and yet is my self. It is without a name. And in its essence with form. Clean and Clear I Am.
