When Experiencing Ibn’Arabi something is happening to our consciousness and we are feeling something. We are feeling an expansion and it is an experience we are not used to; this idea that we understand less and know much more.
How can that be? Because for us information has been data. Now the data is not information but the data is vibration. Because in his words, in his thoughts, in his expression; there is a vibration which touches something at a deeper level in us than the mind. And that causes this reaction of the mind saying, “I don’t get this. This is new territory.”
The soul is beginning to shine through us which in many ways is the proper working of the mind in its role as the lens of the Heart. Thus, the energy of the Heart comes through and we have a complete experience. That’s what is happening here.
